Behavior
Incredible aerial fisherman — success rate of about 70% per dive. Hovers over water, then plunges feet-first. Carries fish headfirst for aerodynamics.

Do not approach nests — osprey are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Observe from a distance with binoculars.
